RB recalls 1.5M units of Mucinex on acetaminophen concerns

Getting too much of the pain reliever acetaminophen can be a serious issue, particularly for people with liver damage, and so U.K.-based Reckitt Benckiser thinks it best to recall 1.5 million bottles of Mucinex in the U.S. whose back labels don't match the front. The company issued the voluntary recall on Tuesday for 135 lots of 6 different kinds of the cold medicine. A spokeswoman said less than 1% of the product it has on-hand was affected by the labeling mishap. More from FiercePharmaManufacturing
